However, it’s essential to consult with a qualified and experienced healthcare professional to determine the most appropriate treatment plan based on your unique needs and goals.
elevate your skin health
Platelet-Rich Fibrin Matrix (also known as PRF or PRP) is a regenerative treatment that is used to rejuvenate your skin by using your body’s own growth factors. It is a natural injectable that stimulates collagen, improves skin texture, and reduces fine lines. It can even be used to help stimulate hair regrowth when injected in the scalp.

Expectations for Results
Results with Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) depend on various factors, including your age and overall health, the treatment area, and your individual anatomy. With our experienced providers at the helm, you can expect an improvement in your overall skin health as well as hair regrowth when injected into the scalp.
How is PRF Administered?
Step 1: Preparation
Dr. Johnson will assess your facial structure, skin quality and tone, as well as scalp health to determine where to add PRF for the best results. We will create a personalized treatment plan to address your needs and goals. This plan will depend on the treatments you’re receiving, such as adding PRF to the tear trough, nasolabial region, deep lines, or scalp.
Step 2: Procedure
Dr. Johnson will use a local anesthetic to numb the treatment area. Depending on the amount of PRF needed and the number of areas being treated, your treatment can be completed in as little as 30 minutes. Our treatment plan will guide the process and ensure you’re as comfortable as possible throughout treatment. Once finished, Dr. Johnson will go over any post-care guidelines to ensure the best recovery and results.
Step 3: Recovery
Patients may return to their regular activities quickly after being treated. We advise against strenuous activity after treatment. Some minor swelling, redness, bruising, tenderness, and discomfort is normal, but these side effects will diminish within 24 hours. A cool compress can help relieve any discomfort. Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, steam rooms, and excessive sun exposure for the first 24 to 48 hours after treatment.
platelet-rich fibrin (prf) FAQs
When administered by a qualified and experienced healthcare professional, PRF is generally considered safe. We are using your body’s own growth factors, greatly reducing the likelihood of allergic reactions.
The best candidates for PRF in Fort Worth are in good health, both physically and psychologically, realistic in their post-treatment expectations, are experiencing unwanted facial changes and/or hair loss, and are over the age of 21.
The duration of PRF results varies depending on factors such as the treatment area, treatment purpose, and the individual’s overall health. Generally, results can last anywhere from one year to many years.
